Not seeing version 17.1 of sendmail anywhere

I do not see a version 17.1 of sendmail anywhere, but a version number of 8.17.1
Is that the version which you are interested in?

Debian has already got 8.17.1 in experimental.

Remark: The version 8.16.1-2ubuntu2 failed to build for Ubuntu jammy (probably related to openssl version 3 introduction).

Yes, I course I mean 8.17.1. I corrected the title.
