How to make my current system into a boot/install CD for later?

Now that I've restored my system after a week of experimenting and messing up with wireless connection sharing, is it at all possible to somehow back up my entire system in the form of a live/install CD, so if I get to experimenting in the future and mess things up, I can reinstall my current configuration with no sweat?

Yes you can backup

I use sbackup

select use a custom directory option to backup to a CD

This doesn't look as if it would allow me to create a live install/boot CD? Will it?

I think reconstructor sounds like the right solution. But the download link doesn't work (so much for ideal).

I didn't see anything on the sourceforge link and the remaster package probably isnt quite what I had in mind.

Who else might have this reconstructor package? It really sounds like the ideal solution!
