testparm changes syntax

Testparm strips out rems and checks syntax, but it converts browseable to browsable. Is this significant?

You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem. We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures.
At a minimum, we need:
1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem,
2. the behavior you expected, and
3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).

SAMBA QUESTION

I created a SMB.CONF file.
In it were the lines:

[homes]
   comment = Home Directories
   browseable = no

After I had run Testparm the lines were changed as follows:

[homes]
   comment = Home Directories
   browsable = no
(Note that the letter 'e' had been removed)

Is this change significant? Does Samba differentiate between "browseable" and "browsable" or does Samba just ignore the difference?

From man page:

browsable

           This parameter is a synonym for browseable.

browseable (S)

           This controls whether this share is seen in the list of available
           shares in a net view and in the browse list.

           Default: browseable = yes
