rkhunter package

New Version: 1.3.8

I noticed that the rkhunter --check-version flag checks the version of rkhunter running. Having said this, the newest version is 1.3.8, the latest version in Ubuntu is 1.3.6. Are there any plans to update the version to latest in the Ubuntu repositories?

1.3.8 is in Debian Experimental, and will eventually migrate to debian testing, and from there will be picked up in the next package auto-sync for Ocelot.

However, if there are CVE (Security) fixes, or features that are particularly important, then the ubuntu archive maintainers (they are a busy lot), may issue an update; just convert your question to a bug.

No need, I managed to package up the Debian source package into an Ubuntu package, got the up-to-date rkhunter source installed now. ;P
