can't play music,missing a plug in

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

I keep getting ,gstreamer can't start,missing a plugin..I just instaled ubuntu,installed all of the updates,and now,,,this player won't work!! So much for ease of use!

just download ubuntu-restricted-extras from nywhere
den go to terminal and issue the command
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras.
open the rhythmbox now try playing.
