How do I enable automatic rating?

From a Google search, I've seen feature lists that say Rhythmbox supports automatic rating. How can I enable such a feature?

According to the Rhythmbox site (http://www.gnome.org/projects/rhythmbox/news.html), the autorating feature was removed in version 0.9.1, and there has been no indication that the feature was re-implemented in the current release (Ubuntu Dapper has 0.9.3.1).

That would leave you with two options: recompile an archived version which supported the feature, or attempt to locate the specific autorating code from the archived source and patch/recompile the most recent version. The problem is, it appears the autorating feature added unnecessary burdens to other features, such as the need to weight normal ratings from 0 to 2.5. I have no idea why (IANAP - I am not a programmer), but clearly there were open issues with the autorating feature.

Oops, seems that there has been a regression here, the checkbox to
close a support request isn't visible anymore. I've reported
https://launchpad.net/products/launchpad/+bug/38567 and will fix it.
