deleting feeds

Asked by dave quist

how do I delete feeds (not just the episodes) to unsubscribe from a podcast?
Where is the file listing the feeds (like the file listing the feeds for castpodder - figure a similar file has to exist for rhythmbox, even if it's hidden behind the GUI).

Thanks.

Podcast feeds in Rhythmbox are stored in ~/.gnome2/rhythmbox/rhythmdb.xml

This is really easy to do using the GUI just the bit of the GUI that does it is not visible by default
when on the podcast screen view go to view and select one of the things that is not selected (cannot remember which one) and a new section will appear with all the feeds you have subscribed to listed in it, you can right click on them and select delete.

had this problem too. took me a while to figure out how to delete a podcast feed.
i think rhythmbox should show by default what podcasts the user is subscribed to.

Ugh - glad this webpage was available, or I would not have figured it out.

As Max began to say, the option "View -> Browse" should be enabled. This lets you delete a podcast feed.
