How to get cover art

Asked by Erik

Hi,

I'm new to Rythmbox and would like to add cover art to my albums. I have the cover art plugin selected and it displays the default picture. I've searched all through the program to have it automatically download the pictures and can't find anything. I've read through other peoples' questions saying they can't get Rythmbox to stop downloading and that it downloads from amazon.com. I'd like to have the program find and download the correct artwork.

Thank you for any and all help.

Do you use an iPod? If yes: I take Gtkpod to manage my Albums and Artwork. I import it Manually from Pages like Amazon or from the Artist-Webpage

No, I use an old Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra. If I have to do it manually I definitely won't because I have 650 albums and am getting more. From other people's questions it definitely appears Rythmbox has this capability.

You can add cover art by first enabling the "Cover art" plug-in.
You can do this by going to Edit>Plugins and checking the box next to Cover art.

I have the same problem... the plugin does'nt recognize Tommy from The Who... so I guess it won't work for my collection of albums from the 60s and the 70s too...

suggestions?
