Remote control for Rhythmbox 3.0 (2.95)

Hello,

one of my favorite features was using a plug-in for remote controlling Rhythmbox from a web interface through my notebook or Android phone. I think this feature is essential for Ubuntu to be used as a HTPC solution in your living room.

The Rhythmweb plug-in was the best plug-in here. Now with migration to GTK-3 all the remote plug-ins are broken in 12.04. Even telemote which was especially designed for Rhythmbox 3.0.

Is there any plan to support a web-based remote plug-in as default plug-in in Rhythmbox?

A lot of stuff is broken and missing from 12.04, It's not ready and not stable and not complete.

I suggest you report a bug.

The same feature is in VLC too, works fine here for me :)
