sync/merge of python-setuptools 0.6c8-2 planned ?

Asked by Philipp Kaluza

Hi doko, hi all,

I depend on python-setuptools 0.6c8-2 in pida. Is there a sync/merge of this (or a newer) version planned for intrepid, or should I prepare a pida package that reduces the dependency to 0.6c8-0ubuntu2 ?

TIA,
  Philipp

intrepid will generally use whatever the latest version is of all software, so whatever is the latest version of python-setuptools is when intrepid enters feature freeze (see: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FeatureFreeze) will be used in the final release
