Unbuntu 10.04 shuts off wireless on Asus eee PC 1000H

After installing Ubuntu 10.04 Netbook Remix, my eee PC 1000H lost wifi connection using WPA security. It works with router/access point using WEP but not WPA. Even the wired connection is very very SLOW. The netbook also stopped charging the battery. I am not sure if this is a coincidence or not. When I had 9.10, wireless worked great and the battery lasted more than 3 hours with each full charge.

This bug description doesn't reveal any association to pulseaudio.

Log a bug. Why have you associated tis with pulseaudio?
