Lost the Ubuntu logo at start up

Asked by Adam7

I installed the education suite to have a look, and the machine started shutting down with 'edubuntu' logo and starting up with a picture of tree, after I uninstalled the education suite, the edubuntu and tree remained so I uninstalled some other edubuntu stuff and now, when I start up it just shows ubuntu in writing, it's not a problem but I kind of liked the ubuntu start up logo. I run 10.10, any ideas?

Try:

sudo update-alternatives --config default.plymouth; sudo update-initramfs -u; sudo update-grub

Should be ok
