Any other workaround for installing 0.11.0 in Elementary?

Any other workaround for installing 0.11.0 in Elementary OS Freya? Coz I read somewhere the upgrade leads to removal of other elementary os packages.

Elementary OS is not supported by the Ubuntu community in any way. None of the "Ubuntu based" distributions are supported here. I suggest you post on the Elementary-os forum
