Hola, para que no uses Google Translate, te contesto en español :) : dependiendo de la versión de PiTiVi que tengas, descarga un archivo .mo desde Launchpad, por ejemplo, éste: https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/quantal/+source/pitivi/+pots/pitivi/es/+export (es para Ubuntu 12.10, asegúrate de seleccionar el formato MO).

Después de unos momentos, el archivo te llegará a tu correo electrónico. Descárgalo y, abriendo una ventana de Nautilus como administrador ("sudo nautilus" en terminal), colócalo en la carpeta /usr/share/locale/es/LC_MESSAGES, y dale el nombre "pitivi.mo". Así, deberías tener PiTiVi en español.
