pidgin package

can get my buddy list for yahoo,but can't get into chat.

Been having problems with pidgin lately.Finally got my buddy list to appear,but cannot get into chat rooms.this problem just started in the last week or so.. Put cn.scs.msg.yahoo.com in and got my buddy list back,but no chat.

At the moment there are many pidgin users experiencing problems connecting to Yahoo IM, you can try changing your paging server to cs101.msg.mud.yahoo.com and see if that helps.

If you get the latest Pidgin I believed it is resolved but you can simply change server while the update rolls out.
