pidgin package

Pidgin wont load yahoo. Worked Fine yesterday.

Hi. I had Pidgin running as my Yahoo messenger cause I am new to Linux and as far as I know pidgen is the only one that can join Yahoo chat. Anyways yesterday Pidgen was working just fine. Turned off my laptop turned it back on and now it just stalls at the connecting screen and when it does conect I can't see my friends list or join a chat room. Any suggestions or other Yahoo Chat programs I can use?

OS:
Super OS aka Super Ubuntu latest build.
Did a fresh install of pidgin. Still having issue.

when reinstall pidgin you should also remove the ./purple folder in your homemap
ctrl+h
(watch it all your accounts/persons/contacts will be deleted!!! so make backup of ./purple and give it a try....

Did that and it worked fine (for a while)...NOW...Pidgin will not load again.

Terminal message..."segmentation fault"...?
