Hello !

Did you get this message from Windows ? Please note that this place is a support for Ubuntu (which is a Linux flavor, and as such not a Windows system).

If you really have an Ubuntu question, could you please clarify it ?

Thanks and regards,
Benoît

Hi,

If you are using Windows, you can install Pidgin for Windows (program which allows you to connect to MSN):

http://www.pidgin.im/download/windows/

If you are using Ubuntu, open a terminal and enter the following commands:

sudo aptitude update
sudo aptitude install libgtk2.0-dev libxml2-dev gettext libnss-dev libnspr-dev pidgin

Regards,

Mark

Ah, the linux distribution that is using is a proprietary one called Linos.

This is a site for Ubuntu, another distribution. You will get better help on a site for Linos like
this one

http://linuxlaptopforum.ark2webdesign.co.uk/

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask keith for more information if necessary.
