How could I invite a friend to my msn in pidgin?

I cant find the place to put the e-mail address of a friend to invite him or her to be in my list, and I also don't know if I just adding a friend he or she will receive a message inviting.

Either this:
Press the "Buddies" button in the top left corner of the program and then click "Add friend".
or just click Ctrl+B.
Then you just write in your friends e-mail and click Add.

(Note: I'm running a different translation so the buttons label could be wrong)

I think now its ok, the fields in my msn pidgin are a little different. Thanks for you help! Regards!
