MSN Chat Nickname is mail address instead of nick

Binary package hint: pidgin

When I enter Chatroom in MSN, my name is always shown as the E-Mail address I used to sign in, instead of the Nickname I use for MSN.
This looks crapy.

Using Ubuntu 8.04 Release: 8.04

This is a known issue with Pidgin.
Look around on their home page for status of it.
