can youhave a multiperson chat on pidgin?

is it possible to have a multiperson chat on pidgin? me and some friends wanted to have a chat with alot of us in it but couldn't figure it out.

It is possible to use pidgin for multiperson chat using IRC.

For multiperson chat on IM, I think google talk allows you to have "group chats." I've not used that option before though.

no it hasn't i'm using the XMPP on pigin and we can't on that one i found out.
