looking for user overview

Asked by evafolsom

Hi! I'm a real n00b. I hope this is the appropriate forum for my question. I recently began running Kubuntu. I just used adept manager to install pidgin, and I'm looking for a sort of overview of how to use it.

Help>Online Help yielded the error message: "The 'Manual' browser command has been chosen, but no command has been set."

Any pointers would be very much appreciated!

Thanks,

Eva

The wiki might be a good place to start.

http://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/Using%20Pidgin

And, yes, this is a good place to ask any Ubuntu related question including questions about any project or application plus a number of other things as well.

Thanks Jim. I didn't realize there was a distinction between "answered" and
"solved"! :)

Until it's marked solved by the question asker it will show up as open or answered. Solved means we can now ignore it so it's a bit of time saver for those of us helping here. Thanks.
