loging in with sso

Hi I have ben unsucsesful in loging in to ubuntu forums with my original user name, I have tryed to use the sso program to change my password but it also changed my user name and now I cant get into my original account. I have tryed for three days now to get this straitend out, I have gotten two emails with autherizing codes that dont work. HELP!!!
