Pidgin allways worked, now it's saying: Unexpected answer by https://api.oscar.aol.com/aim/startOSCARSession recieved: Ok

Hi!

I never had problems using Pidgin instead of ICQ and MSN. But in the past two weeks, pidgin often refused to connect to ICQ. I didn't mind at first, searched for the error online and solved it. My solution was only one of temporary kind, as I know have to find out. Half an hour ago, pidgin again refused to connect. I tried the same stuff I did before and waited to connect. Now it's saying: Unknown Error.

My settings are:

server: slogin.oscar.aol.com
port: 5190
SSL: active
ClientLogin: (now) inactive
AIM/ICQ Proxy: inactive (also tried active)

I'm kind of starting to get crazy.

Try:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:pidgin-developers/ppa; sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get -y upgrade
