Do you have Ubuntu installed at the moment? Dual boot? Wubi?

One easy way is to do a clean install and tell Ubuntu to use the whole disk, but that will wipe out anything you have that is important.

i do have things like pics that i dont want to lose.

Install Ubuntu and use the entire disc.

If you do what peter says it will wipe out your pics.

If you can, copy off what you want to save onto fat16, do a clean install and copy the stuff you saved back on.

Yea, sure first you have to save your pics, Use an USB stick, a CD or a floppy.
