Is Ubuntu going to provide a PHPMyAdmin 3 package?

PHPMyAdmin 3.0.1 is out with PHP5 and MySQL 5 only support which should speed up the application. Any plans to create a package?

yes

in the next release schedule which is after ibex releases it will be included in the repositories.
