Package with --with-readline option

Could it be possible to have this package in repository compiled with --with-readline option and --with-ssh as to have ssh default connection type?

The version names of the package are "2.31-3build2". This indicates that the package was taken over from Debian without any ubuntu-specific change.
I assume that you better ask this question at Debian. If Debian change the options, Ubuntu will follow.

There is even a request to add readline in the Debian bug tracker https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=754936
I am not sure whether pdsh ist still actively maintained. There has not been any activity for years and there are problems listed on https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/pdsh
