updates not installing, how to increase partition size
Asked by

When Ubuntu starts up it opens the updates manager and shows a whole list of updates. When I click "install updates" to install them it says that there is not enough disk space to accommodate the updates. I am running Ubuntu on a new 500GB hard drive and the hard drive in my computer still has 40GB left so I know there is the required 350MB of space it needs to update. Anybody know why this would be doing this? I am thinking it might be because it partitioned my hard drive to install Ubuntu and it just didn't partition enough. If this is the case how could I add more space to the partition?
