How do I change a page number in a document?

Asked by Thomas H. Donnelly

I have composed a document in which the first page was 125, since it followed a previous document. The previous document is now two pages longer, so the first page of the new document should be 127. How do I change the 125 to 127?

I suppose the page number lies in the footer of the document, and that automatic page umbering is used. If so, you can right click on the actual number (on any page), and open "Numbering" or something similar - I don't remember exactly what it says. In the bottom of the dialog, you will fint a text entry for "Offset". Change this offset to represent the change. Good luck, and sorry I can't be more precise on the names in the menus.

Can you help with this problem?
