Backspace and cursor keys are not working in Open Office ver 3.1.

Backspace and cursor (up/down, left/right) keys are not working in Open Office version 3.1. How can I solve this issue?

close all openoffice apps and run:

mv ~/.openoffice.org ~/.openoffice.org_old

Then rerun the app.

You should delete or rename configuration folder of openoffice.org /home/*username*/ .openoffice.org (it's hidden, so that in nautilus in menu "view" check the box "show hidden"

raiden, you can use $USER in terminal to reference the current user. Saves confusing users with *username* not existing and getting users saying that the command failed as they copy the commands as they appear on here ;)
