In openoffice.org Base I want to rename a field. Can it be done

I am trying to use Open Office's database to set up a Christmas card mailing list.
So I choose an address template but I cannot set up custom fields.
I have Field, Field2 etc. Can I rename them?

Yes. In the main window, click on the tables icon on the left. The right click on the table and select edit. In the fields list, you should be able to rename the fields by selecting them and then typing in a new name.
