Adding plug in to OpenOffice

Asked by Nels

I recently downloaded an extension for Open Office. I downloaded it to the desk top as a .oxt package (its in a little cardboard box on the desktop) I am new to both linux and ubuntu (love it by the way) and don't know where to go from here to install the new data.

I have ubuntu 8.04 and open office 2.4

Bring up open office (any of the programs). Click tools, package manager, add. Then simply open the .oxt file in the dialog that comes up, and let it do its stuff.

Can you help with this problem?
