how to set up a shortcut key for Edit > Repeat

With the US English version of OpenOffice.org, the shortcut is not enabled by default.

Since there is an Edit > Repeat menu item, you can set up your own custom shortcut.
Tools > Customize.
Click the Keyboard tab
Under Shortcut keys, select the key combination to modify.
Under Category, select Edit.
Under Function, select Repeat.
If you want the shortcut to apply to all OpenOffice.org, click OpenOffice.org, otherwise, click the module name (Writer).
Click Modify
Click OK

Hope it helps

Bhavani Shankar.

Siguiendo las indicaciones de Bhavani, veo que existe una combinación para Repetir:
Ctrl+Mayúsc.+Y
(Tengo la versión en español de OO). Saludos,

Hi
Following Bhavani instructions, I see this existing shortcut key for Repeating:
Ctrl+Shift+Y
(I got the spanish version OO). Bye,

Julián.
