cant open my openoffice ods file from my window pc

I have an windows xp pro ans an win 7 pc as well as my ubuntu machine on my network i can share my openoffice spreed sheet between my win xp and 7 but when i try and open it on my ubuntu machine it opens it doesn't open up correctly

Please tell what are your issue what mean not correctly...

To have best compatibility please install libreoffice on both your windows pc

and/or use open formats

That's because the file format is different. From the Ubuntu PC, save your ODS spreadsheet to XLS format.

Also please install on your ubuntu the ubuntu-restricted-extras package to get some basic common Win fonts installed on your Ubuntu
