openjdk-7-jre depends on openjdk-6-jre

There is a circular dependency between openjdk-7-jre and openjdk-6-jre. As a result if I install openjdk-7-jdk, openjdk-6-jre is installed and if I remove openjdk-6-jre, openjdk-7-jdk is also removed. Is there any way I can install java-7 without installing java-6?
