Need open-vm-tools 11.2.x+ backport on bionic

Hello,

Looking at Bionic, I see the latest version of open-vm-tools available is 11.0.5-4ubuntu0.18.04.2

However, on account of running into memory leak issues, an upgrade to atleast 11.2.x (in particular 11.2.5 from the open-vm-tools changelog https://github.com/vmware/open-vm-tools/blob/stable-11.2.5/open-vm-tools/ChangeLog) is needed.

On a side note, on Focal I see the latest version to be 11.3.0-2ubuntu0~ubuntu20.04.3

I was hoping if the possibility to get 11.3 or at the minimum 11.2.5 backported to bionic was possible.
