how to request updating the "original website" link?

Asked by Karl

I noticed that the original website link is not working. The correct one seems to be notepadqq.com. Where do I report this to get it updated? Thx.

The information about the homepage that is shown on packages.ubuntu.com has been copied from the control file in the package, and if it is wrong it has to be corrected there.

You have to be aware that Ubuntu is copying packages from Debian (to avoid double packaging work), and the package for notepadqq has been taken from Debian without any modification. If the package needs a modification, then it should preferably be done on Debian, and Ubuntu will copy the updated package.

There is already a related bug report in the Debian bug tracker https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=965192 but it seems that nobody has started working on it yet.

If you create a bug report in the Ubuntu system, then please add a reference to the Debian bug report.

Many thanks for your explanation and research.
In that case, it seems unnecessarx to file one more bug on the same topic, instead we can only hope that the Debian team processes the existing one.
