How to create a public provider network after installing tenant networks

Hi,

I installed openstack on two nodes ( one controller and one compute ) with two network interfaces on each node by following mitaka installation guide. I have opted type-2 (tenant networks) for the neutron installation. And the setup is ready and working good for creating private networks using routers. Now I need to create a public provider network. Is it possible ?
