In the bugs session are the problems being looked at?

Asked by ZoltanD

Hello!

I have reported a bug in ubuntu on 2013-03-19, a week ago and there is unfortunately no sign that someone would be doing something with it. The issue I have reported is present since ubuntu 12.04 came out. Do you think somebody is going to do something with it in a week or are some bugs just ignored and closed?

Thanks!

Hi Zoltan Dolgos,

no bugs are ignored ! You can count on that. I'm very sure about it.

Yes , some bugs are closed (or converted to a question by bug's supervisors) if they are invalid or not contain much informations.

Be patient , because bugs are quit a lot , and developers struggle with them , to fix first the most important.

I also reported a bug here: bug #1156306 , as you can see is 2 days older than yours , it is triaged which is a good thing (bug supervisor recognized-approved) , but I'm kindly wait to be fixed.

Regards
 NikTh

Hello NikTh,

thank you for the encouragement, but nothing has happened since last time... the annoying thing is that I am forced to use winxp, which is because of that started lagging very much and I can't do anything to fix the problem on ubuntu. I'll give openSUSE a try, maybe that'll work.

Zoltan.

Can you help with this problem?
