how can I install cywgin within pubuntu? thanks

1. I would like to install Cygwin on my newly installed Pubunutu system. I though it was part of the file system.
     I am running TCL. I guess all the supporting files are installed.

2. I would also like to check for updates and install them. I am not sure if '123456' as a password will work. I attempted to
     log in as root this morning without success using 'su root' the passwrd: '123456'
     I was able to eventually able to log in as superuser WITHOUT a password typing 'sudo su'.
     I will require a password for any update process.

Pubuntu isnt supported here. Pubuntu has it's own support and forums. I suggest you post here:
sourceforge.net/projects/portableubuntu/forums
