kobo glo setup

How do I set up the kobo glo using ubuntu? I am not tech savvy but tried a few things that obviously didn't work. I tried uploading a code from calibre to a terminal; the instruction was to copy and paste but it would not paste in terminal.

Press CTRL+ALT+T and run:

Do you just want calibre? Is that the crux of this issue?

No. I want to be able to set up my kobo glo on ubuntu/linux. My friend switched me to linux but I am not a technical person. I asked him about kobo and he doesn't know how to set it up. Calibre or whateverre will work for me.560.

I typed in the code above and got an error saying
NameError: name '_import_' is not defined
