Enable build of sql-bench

I'm doing some performance testing and would like to be able to use sql-bench. I see that it is not included in any of the officially supported mysql* packages but could you point me to where in the source .deb I can re-enable it's compilation and installation before a package rebuild with dpkg-buildpackage?
This is for an evaluation of Ubuntu LTS versus CentOS as a database platform. If we can't get numbers for ULTS then I'm afraid it will go to CentOS by default.
