How to implement ntp in an ltsp client
Asked by
Ronald van Engelen
We would like our ltsp clients to powerdown at midnight (to save power, kill stale processess and ensure that client get a new chroot each morning).
We installed the (suggested) ntpdate package but this doesn't work. It's called from /etc/network/
We're reluctant to install ntp (daemon) in the client chroot because it's over 1MB.
Any pointers?
Regards,
Ronald
