when i starts Ubuntu it says:

Starting up...

MP-BIOS bug: 8254 timer not connected to IO-APIC

then load Ubuntu normally...

Is this an nvidia chipset? If so, please make sure it's got the latest BIOS.

no it's ATI
and i have the last bios

Well, the message seems to indicate a BIOS problem (either the PIT not connected to the IO APIC or not being reported correctly: the latter I presume).
In this case the kernel doesn't use it , most probably is using the TSC and/or the ACPI PMT.
You can check this in your dmesg.
If you want to see more info try adding apic=debug as a boot parameter.

By the way, I'm not talking about videocard but motherboard chipset.
