Jumbled graphics after starting LibreOffice

Everything is normal until I open a document with Libre. Then all the unity icons take on a fuzzy erratic look.

lsb_release -a; uname -a; apt-cache policy libreoffice

Try closing all libreoffice apps and run:

mv ~/.config/libreoffice ~/.config/libreoffice_old

Then run the app.

That locked it up. Unity desktop looks good after restart. Oops! Now it's funky again.

Have you tested your RAM using memtest from grub?

Can't get to grub menu.
