How can I installed 3rd Party Hindi Fonts into Ubuntu

Respected Sir,
         My name is Saurabh Bhartiya; I am beginner for Ubuntu 10.10 so I don't know how can I install KrutiDev Hindi fonts into Ubuntu? Because I installed Ubuntu along side of my Windows XP operating system. I like Ubuntu rather than Windows XP by many features or facilities; but I am facing Hindi fonts problem in Ubuntu. Please help me or guide me step by step that, how can I install or where can I install all Hindi fonts? Thanks.

You can enable hindi language support in Ubuntu from the "Language Support" (System --> Administration --> Language Support)
.Click on "Install/Remove Languages" and select Hindi. Also select all the possible options from the "Components" list.

For more fonts you can use this command in Terminal:

  apt-cache search hindi

To install them try:

  sudo apt-get install <package_name>
