lauchpad download ssh

I have a problem in want to download an ssh key via lauchpad or github more get message no username found

I have created an ssh keys but can always get the message that it cannot be imported

yes okay you can download an ssh public key from lauchpad and github with the latest version of ubuntu but it doesn't work with lauchpad
