Can't load Kubuntu Desktop on Ubuntu 12.10

Hi team,

I've successfully installed Kubuntu on Ubuntu 12.10 (quantal) running GNOME 3.6.0 (Ubuntu 2012-10-04) following the FromUbuntuToKubuntu instructions at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/FromUbuntuToKubuntu. The only differance was that I installed it via the Software Center because I wasn't able to install it using Synaptic Package Manager.

Unfortunately I'm not provided with any option to change Session either upon logout or following reboot.

I can see kde app's in the all applications view. The only visible sign is the appearnce of KDE Accessible icon up the top!

sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop
kubuntu-desktop is already the newest version.
