KWallet is a handy utility that causes you to only have to type one password once (usually at login). Without KWallet, each time you would connect to an IM account in kopete, you would need to type in your password. If you use Konqueror as a web browser, all the saved passwords are also stored in KWallet. Since knetwork manager is requesting to access KWallet, I assume you are using a wireless network? I'm guessing that your wireless passphrase is stored in KWallet. You can just type in the password that you created for KWallet. If you don't remember the password, then right-click the 'wallet' in your systray, delete the default wallet, and relogin. It will prompt you to create a wallet.

Hope this works.
