update to v2.33?

Will there be an updated package to v2.33 anytime soon? My plugins have stopped working due to a version conflict.

Which Ubuntu version are you running?

You have to understand the Ubuntu release philosophy. Working versions of programs normally will not be updated in published Ubuntu releases, and newer versions will only be provided in new Ubuntu releases.

If the existing versions of keepass2 are no more working, then an update should be requested by means of a bug report.

I'm on LinuxMint 17.3 (Ubuntu 14.04). KeePass2 works fine with v2.32, but the plugins I try to install (e.g. KeePassHttp and DataBaseBackup) are telling me they do not work with this version of KeePass, while KeePass2 itself is reporting there is a newer version available, i.e. v2.33. So I should not file a bug report, I think, since KeePass is working. Only the plugins seem to prefer a newer version.

Meanwhile the workaround in my particular case is to copy/paste login data manually and backup the database manually as well. I can live with that. Although that also brings me back to using the much simpler KeePassX.

Linux Mint is not supported on these Launchpad Ubuntu pages, similar to the other "Ubuntu-based" operating systems.
