Where does KAudioCreator normally save the ripped tracks?

 I didn't find a possibility to choose a directory or found the actual directory that is used and now I have troubles to find my music...

On my computer it is just underneath my /home/username/ogg/ .
You can change it to wherever you may want by clicking on Settings-->Configure KAudioCreator-->Encoder.
Change the encoded file location to suit your needs. I'd probably get rid of the %{extension} and call it Music, or something. I wouldn't change what follows, but that's just me.
